CC0 Public Domain

The annual Elks Lodge Easter Egg Hunt in Pierre is moving to the state Capitol building this year.

The event is usually held at the governor’s residence, but officials say recent weather has made conditions there unsuitable.

Kids up to age 12 are invited to attend. It takes place Sunday, April 9 at 1 p.m. CT.

Lt. Gov. Larry Rhoden is hosting the event.
