Travis Sorenson's sculpture "Elk" has won the 2022 Sioux Falls Sculpture Walk's People's Choice Award. The large, welded sculpture currently stands vigil near the Carpenter Building on Phillips Avenue. It will now join the city's permanent collection.

Travis Sorenson's work has received numerous Best in Show awards in previous sculpture walk competitions. He joins In the Moment from home in Sturgis, South Dakota.

Lori Walsh is the host and senior producer of In the Moment.
