This interview is from SDPB's daily public-affairs show, In the Moment, hosted by Lori Walsh.

The Sanford Underground Research Facility is building a space that honors the indigenous people of the region.

SURF is working to create "Cangleska Wakan," an ethnobotanical garden to better understand the native culture of the Black Hills. It aims to be a place where people can commune with nature and foster respect and understanding for the natural world

On Earth Day we welcome Staci Miller, Director of the Sanford Underground Research Facility foundation. She speaks with Lori Walsh on In the Moment about her vision for the project and her goals for its eventual completion.
