NPR Tiny Desk entry from South Dakota: Fine Mess

NPR's Tiny Desk Contest is underway. The contest invites artists across the nation to submit original music for a chance to perform at the desk of NPR music curator Bob Boilen. Winners will tour with NPR across the country.

In 2021, Biology Professor Jeff Wesner and English instructor Joe Raiche of the Band Fine Mess submitted their song "Glue."

Wesner and Raiche formed their band in June 2020 alongside Vermillion nurse Amy Askew. Wesner says they're hoping to submit another song for the 2022 contest, but they haven't planned anything yet. Right now, they're busy booking shows for the summer.

If you have an original song you'd like to share, you still have time to submit your music. NPR's Tiny Desk Contest closes on March 14.
