The history of radio in South Dakota runs deep. Today's Images of the Past focuses on rural connections. In the early 1900s, Dana McNeil got his first radio set and trained his wife Ida in amateur radio, KGFX radio in Pierre went public. After Dana's passing in 1936, Ida continued and became known as "Mrs. Pierre." SDPB's Brian Gevik is with us now with more.
