The South Dakota Hall of Fame celebrates Acts of Excellence. It's a program to connects us with individuals and organizations who are building a culture of excellence in South Dakota.
 
On the corner of Kemp and Maple avenues in Watertown, you will find the Goss Opera House. It seats 450 people and first opened its doors in 1889. A few years back, major structural issues were discovered. In an effort to restore the building, the non-profit Friends f the Goss Opera House, Inc purchased the building and began raising funds. Brad Johnson is the treasurer and founder of the nonprofit Friends of the Goss Opera House, Inc. foundation, and Missy Sinner is the executive director of the Goss Opera House.
