"Cloddy" Chronicled In New Book By Son

Dwane Clodfelter was a pioneer in the integration of college basketball in the 1950's and 60's. His 1958 USD Coyotes team won the Division II National Championship with two black athletes, brothers Cliff and Jimmie Daniels of Brooklyn, New York, when many universities were not integrated.

Kim Clodfelter conducted of 70 interviews for his book "Cloddy" which is centered on Dwane Clodfelter and his 1958 Coyotes team. He's joined on In The Moment by Bernie Hunhoff who wrote a preview of "Cloddy" in the latest edition of South Dakota Magazine.
