Real as Air, a new play by Richard W. Swanson, is based on letters, messages, and memories shared between Richard, his wife Cheryl, and his sister Kathy after Kathy is diagnosed with ALS.

It's a play about hope and mortality, beauty and limitation.

You can see it at Augustana University in Sioux Falls, from September 21st to 23rd and  from September 28th to 30th.

Richard W. Swanson and Jayna Fitzsimmons, director of Augustana's production, joined In The Moment with a preview of the play.
