Dakota Midday: Humor Columnist Dorothy Rosby
In her newspaper columns, Rapid City humorist Dorothy Rosby shares personal foibles, faults, mistakes and misfortunes. But they’re common, often mundane things her readers can relate to. She writes about such experiences as feeling needlessly nervous and guilty during airport screenings and the responsibility of trying to maintain and bake friendship bread.
Rosby has written her column for 18 years and it’s currently featured in publications in 11 states and nationally in Exceptional People magazine. By day Rosby is the community relations Director for Black Hills Works, an organization supporting more than 600 people with a variety of disabilities.
Rosby has just released her first book, I Used to Think I Was Not That Bad and Then I Got to Know Me Better.
