Jazz/R&B Vocalist Performing In Sioux Falls

Jazz/r&b vocalist Jane L. Powell brings her acclaimed soul, humor and vocal prowess to the Mary W. Sommervold Hall in Sioux Falls on Friday (1/17) at 7:00 p.m. Powell has demonstrated her remarkable vocal range throughout the US, Canada, Europe and the Caribbean, recorded a national McDonald's advertisement and can be seen and heard in the films "Marie" and "The Bachelor." She earned the title of "Entertainer of the Year," "Performing Arts/Music Awards" and "Jazz Artist of the Year" by the National Association for Campus Activities ("NACA") and has worked with or opened for artists such as Lou Rawls, B.J. Thomas and The Crusaders.
