Obama Announces Biden As Running Mate

Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama lifted the curtain on his vice presidential choice Saturday, introducing Sen. Joseph Biden of Delaware at a rally in Springfield, Ill. Jacki Lyden speaks with Ina Jaffe in Springfield, the same place Obama announced his bid for the White House last year.

Longtime listeners recognize Jacki Lyden's voice from her frequent work as a substitute host on NPR.
