The South Dakota Symphony Orchestra opens the 2018-2019 Classical Season this weekend at the Washington Pavilion in Sioux Falls.

The program includes everything from a meditation on the life-giving journey of a drop of water to the heroism of Beethoven's 3rd Symphony.

Maestro Delta David Gier, principal oboist Jeffrey Paul, and principal flutist William Cedeño Torres, joined In The Moment for a preview.

The company presents their first full-length production this weekend at the ICON Lounge in Sioux Falls. It's called "Ball: a Musical Tribute to my Lost Testicle." It's creator survived testicular cancer and wrote the musical during chemotherapy treatment. Ruth Sturm and Max Wotjanowicz join us.
