SDPB

Over 700 Student-Athletes are set to compete in the 69th Annual SDHSAA State Cross Country Meet being held at Broadland Creek Golf Course in Huron on Saturday afternoon, beginning with the Class ‘B’ Girls’ race at 1:00 pm Central Time.

Five of the six defending Team Champions return to the competition in 2014, highlighted by the Ipswich girls’ squad, who are gunning for their fifth consecutive Class ‘B’ Championship. Other returning team champions include Garretson (‘A’ Girls), Rapid City Stevens (‘AA’ Girls), Todd County (‘A’ Boys) and Sioux Falls Lincoln (‘AA’ Boys). The Class ‘B’ Boys’ division will feature a new champion, as Elkton-Lake Benton failed to qualify as a team for this year’s event.
