Remembering Gov. George S. Mickelson

Twenty years ago, South Dakotans got word their leader died in a plane crash. Governor George Speaker Mickelson and seven others were killed when their plane went down in Iowa. During his time in office, the state’s 28th governor called his public service a privilege and a responsibility. In today’s Dakota Digest, hear Governor Mickelson’s goals and philosophies in his own words.
