John Pelant and Micky Alfano are the core of Minneapolis-based Night Moves. Formed in 2009, Night Moves released their debut album Colored Emotions in 2012. Three years later, the follow-up Pennied Days became available.
The beauty of Night Moves' swirling grooves can veer into every conceivable direction. Night Moves' "freak-folk vocal style and their organ and string arrangements spin their songs into mini-epics," as described in the New Yorker.
Night Moves toured Europe in January. They performed at Total Drag Record in Sioux Falls on May 6th.
