Major General Don Goldhorn

In The Moment ... August 14, 2017 Show 155 Hour 1

Tension between the United States and the Democratic People's Republic of Korea is not new. But as North Korea recently crossed certain thresholds in its quest to develop nuclear weapons capable of hitting the U.S. and its territories, the war of words at times has seemed to threaten an increase in the possibility of real military conflict. At the center of the story - the islands of Micronesia, specifically Guam. Today we're joined by a South Dakotan who served as the principle advisor to the Governor of Guam on all military matters. Retired Major General Don Goldhorn served as Adjutant General of the Guam National Guard. He was Assistant Adjutant General of the South Dakota Army National Guard from 1999 to 2001.
