Many of us surround ourselves with people who think and act like we do. The 2018 Diversity and Inclusion Summit in Sioux Falls seeks to invest in diversity-related education to help bridge the gap between an emerging workforce and South Dakota business leaders and entrepreneurs.

Jermaine Davis is the event's keynote speaker. He's the founder and CEO of Jermaine M. Davis Seminars and Workshops and a college professor of communications studies and organizational leadership. He works with Fortune 1000 companies and colleges and universities on issues of leadership, communication, and diversity and inclusion.

Jermaine Davis joined In The Moment to talk about the importance of reflection and feedback, avoiding tokenism and marginalization, and how good conversations move relationships forward.
