"Beyond Boundaries" Exhibit Opens Friday

Mar 6, 2014

The Dahl Arts Center is home to "Beyond Boundaries: Visions from the South Unit of Badlands National Park."  The collection of paintings, set in and around Badlands National Park, opens Friday and runs through May 3 in the Inez and Milton Shaver Gallery at the Dahl.  Created by artist Jessica L. Bryant, "Beyond Boundaries" offers viewers a rare glimpse of remote, rarely explored areas in Badlands National Park, a place where Bryant recently spent 16 weeks as artist-in-residence.  Her watercolors find the profound beauty in the rugged landscape and highlight the many boundaries that exist there.  Bryant, who lives in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho,  also had her work chosen for last year's American Watercolor Society's International Exhibition.
