Tom Berry served as South Dakota's governor from 1933-1937. People will be able to learn more about him in a free program featuring three presenters. Paul Higbee of Spearfish will discuss the book he wrote, "South Dakota's Cowboy Governor Tom Berry." Ralph "Shorty" Jones of Midland will share his memories of Berry, who was his grandfather. Tony Venhuizen of Pierre will tell about Berry's statue that is part of Pierre's Trail of Governors.
